2017 Course & Rules

Race Schedule:

Wave registration available on first come, first serve basis. Exceptions are available if you would like to ride with people outside of your category. For exceptions, contact registration @ 10am.

10am: Registration Open – Start / Registration – located 100 meteres up from Half Nelson parking Lot on Ring Creek FSR

10:15am: Rider Briefing

11am: Open Men Wave 1

11:30am: Open Men Wave 2

12:15pm: Masters and Veteran Men Wave 1

12:45pm: Masters and Veteran Men Wave 2

1:00pm: All Women

1:30pm: Pro Men

6:30pm: Dinner @ Norman Rudy’s

7:30pm: Awards and Prizing

8pm – Late: After party with DJ Praiz, prizes, swag, games, twerk off…

Parking is available at the Half Nelson parking lot, and along Garibaldi Park Road. The finish line is located at Norman Rudy’s Pub, NOT at the same location as the start. You can park on the road in front of Norman Rudy’s Pub and shuttle to the start line, or arrange a shuttle back to your vehicle after you cross the finish line. Shuttles are NOT provided by Squamish Enduro.


All riders must leave in their designated start wave

All riders must follow the course in it’s entirety

If caught by another rider within a stage, riders must yield IMMEDIATELY to the faster, oncoming rider

All riders must obey by the rules of the road while on roadways

All riders must follow start marshal, finish marshal, and course marshal direction at all times

Failure to conform with the above rules will result in rider disqualification

Top ranked EMBA members competing in the 2017 Series will be added to the EWS Reserved List and will be eligible for priority registration for all the 2018 EWS Rounds.
(100 Men, 40 Women, 20 Master 40+, 20 U21).
The winner in each official EWS category at every Qualifier Series will also be automatically added to the Reserved List (providing winner is an EMBA member).

There is no minimum number of races which must be completed in order to be included in the overall rankings.  But only a rider’s best 3 results will be counted in the final overall ranking.

Riders must be EMBA members in order to be eligible to collect EWS Qualifier Series ranking points / be added to the EWS Reserved List.  Riders MUST have the membership before the race – points will not be assigned retroactively.  The 2017 memberships are available here: https://emba2107qualifierseries.eventbrite.ca
