FAQ’s
Who races the Short Course?
The Short Course course has been updated to fit in between the new Classics Course, and the Full Course. It’s designed for all ages (12+ as of race day), but is physically demanding (see stats above). Confident intermediate riders will find this course to be a measured challenge, but manageable. Expert riders will have a blast, and will still be challenged at speed by this fast, technical course, plus it’s not as big a day as the full course – so you can save some energy for the apres.
What kind of trails are in the Short Course?
Ever-changing, year on year, the Short Course is always different. These aren’t necessairly the trails in the event, but think trails like Crouching Squirrel, Hidden Monkey or Angry, with one harder black trail like Entrails, mixed with one blue square trail, like Hot Tuna.
Can I transfer into the Classics or Full Course after I find out what the Short Course is on March 29th?
You would have to find someone willing to relinquish their entry to you – you cannot simply change course lengths. See our Registration page or FAQ page for info on transfers.
Are any of the trails from the Full or Classics Course in the Short Course?
No. All 3 courses are mutually exclusive of each other – there are no shared trails on any of them.
