Short Course

Race start at Squamish Valley Golf Course (no parking at the golf course. See Parking for details). Riders begin by transiting through the Garibaldi Highlands neighbourhood , and up Garibaldi Park Road. Take caution to obey the rules of the road – roads are not closed for the event. Across Darwins bridge, up ring creek rip, the acess road, and Bonsai North. Stage starts at the top of the rocks (check the course preview video below).
Stage 1: Somewhere Over There (alt route around slabs)

Following the stage, use the Carpenters Son access road to navigate back towards Capilano University, where you will find the Nesters Market Feed Zone (#1). Turn left to head down the University Boulevard and then right on Perth Drive. Climb the Mashiter, Tracks from Hell, and 50 Shades. Stage starts at the top of the climb, at the trail sign.
Stage 2: Rupert

Riders will turn left on The Mashiter and pedal back up Tracks from Hell, 50 Shades, and down towards Entrails. Riders will ride down Entrails, but it is not included in the stage. Stage starts at the beginning of Endhole connector, after the Entrails junction. This stage will host the We Are One Race to Mid-Pack, where the male and female rider who finish exactly mid pack (all riders combined) will take home a brand new pair of We Are One rims, designed, tested and manufactured in Kamloops, BC.
Stage 3: Endhole – Room with a View – Gouranga (pro-line closed)

Finish stage 3 and turn right on the access road, heading down towards Jack’s Trail. Pedal up Jacks Trail to find the Nesters Market Feed Zone (#2) at the roundabout in Alice Lake Provincial Park. Continue up Debeck’s Grind.
Stage 4: Crouching Squirrel, Hidden Monkey – Kiki – Rico – Brackentrail

Be prepared to spool up at the top section of Crouching Squirrel, Hidden Monkey for the Howe Sound Brewing Speed Zone, where the winner (male & female) will ride away with their speed in limited edition Pilsner Plunge tall cans. That’s right – if you go 100km/h you get 100 cans of locally brewed excellence!
Transit back to race finish at Squamish Valley Golf Club. All riders must check in at race finish. Ensure you make it back in time for your meal cut off time for the apres. The apres is a private event and is only open to registered athletes and volunteers. Friends and family are welcome to join us for podium awards beginning at 4:30pm, and can stay for the after party.
